The location was perfect, right in the town center and walking distance from both railway stations. The staff were welcoming and gave us lots of advice. The room was huge, like a suite, with a terrace and a view over the town. The breakfast and tea brought to the room were delicious.
Felt very well taken care of, no complaints at all.

I stayed at Ryokan Kosen Kazeya Group for a few nights during my trip to experience a traditional Ryokan. The location was perfect, just steps away from the famous five storey pagoda, Kofukuji, museums, and shops. The quadruple room I stayed in was incredibly spacious and could easily accommodate six people. The rustic public bath was a unique experience, and the Nepalese staff were friendly and spoke English. The traditional Japanese room with its mural walls, sliding paper doors, and tatami flooring was a nice change, and the view of the lake and proximity to the deer park added to the charm. The Japanese breakfast served was enjoyable and the hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
